The Market Street Singers celebrate Spring 2016 with a musical program
that is both exciting and diverse. The highlight will be Leonard Bernstein's powerful
Chichester Psalms, one of the most beloved contemporary choral masterpieces.
The famous second movement solo will be sung by renowned Seattle area male
soprano Aaron Norman. We will also be joined by percussionist Memmi Ochi,
harpist Michelle Wilcox, and our accompanist Ingrid Verhulsdonk on the organ.
Just to prove that there is something for everyone, we will also offer a medley
from the hit musical South Pacific and a tribute to the famous glam rock band
Queen, with John DeTurk on bass and Mitchell Fund on drums. We will also premiere
In Those Fields, a new a cappella choral composition by Mitchell Fund.
